Keeping it in the country is a 23 year old poker player from Dublin, the latest winner of the 2,000 EUR buy-in PartyPoker.com Irish Poker Championship. Rory Rees-Brennan defeated Chris Dowling in heads up play, picking up the 160,000 EUR first place prize. Dowling did not fair too badly, winning 90,000 EUR, and third place Ben Vinson took home 55,000 EUR. The new champ will be buying a new car with his winnings, as well as footing the bill for a trip Down Under, where he will try his luck at the Aussie Millions poker event in Australia.
