The 2009 World Series of Poker has a number of special events, including the main event and the $40k buy in to celebrate their 40th anniversary. One of the events is the HORSE event, with a $50k buy in, and it is usually a big draw for pro poker players; this year, however, the playing f3eild came up shorter than expected. The HORSE field was down 30 percent from last year, but still was packed with bit name poker stars, such as Chris Ferguson, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen and Annie Duke.
