Female Poker Players Celebrated at Horseshoe

The new Horseshoe Casino near Chicago recently hosted their first World Series of Poker circuit event, and officials have put out a press release to announce that an “impressive number” of female entrants participated. In the 227 player event, a ladies No Limit Hold’em $200 buy in event, was rough going, with play running till five in the morning before getting down to a final table of ten. Because of the tough run players were given a break and play resumed at 4 PM the next day. This event was part of the thirteen that comprise the WSOP Circuit, a series of events that range around America during the off season for the official WSOP in Las Vegas.
