Coachella Valley Poker Championship

The Coachella Valley Poker Championship, hailed as the richest poker tournament in the desert, returns to play for two days near the end of this month. The big name headlining the event is Jerry Yang, the winner of the 2007 World Series of Poker, who will be on hand January 23 to the 25th. Players will battle for final table position at the Spotlight 29 Poker Room, vying to become the Coachella Valley Poker Champion. Buy in for the event is $1k, although live satellite events are running from now till the event at the poker room.
