Michigan charities will have to do without the money raised by a poker room that was recently shut down by authorities. The room was closed for allegedly charging charity groups a fee that exceeded the legal limit. Fisher Bingo Hall and Poker Room in Flint, Michigan was under investigation by the Michigan Lottery for eight months. They were tipped that the room was charging more than they should and the owners of the poker room were pocketing the extra. The owners of the room were charged and settled with the Michigan Lottery by paying fines and agreeing to close the poker room.
