Charity Poker Draws Lehman Bros Participants

Despite the bankruptcy proceedings for financial firm Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc, employees put their money where their heart was when they paid $250 to participate in a charity poker event, put on for StreetWise Partners, Inc. The charity, in a certain ironic flair, helps the underprivileged find work. The poker event is an annual fundraiser that was held in Manhattan, with about 300 high end financial employees coming to play. In the end the event raised around $75k for the charity, taking part in the poker and the food and drink.
