The World Series of Poker runs in the summer, but their WSOP Circuit events run all year long, and the latest was won by a man who went deep in the 2006 WSOP, Michael Binger. Binger won the Harveys Lake Tahoe World Series of Poker Circuit Championship during the largest turnout in the five-year history of the event. More than $1.4 million was collected across 13 events, and the main event’s $5k buy in generated a first place prize of $181k. He also got a gold ring and a buy in to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.
