Tyron Krost is the winner of the 2010 Aussie Millions Poker Series Main Event. Krost is only the second Australian to win the Aussie Millions event. Last year the winner, also an Australian, was Stewart Scott. Krost beat a field of 746 players in the $10,000 AUD no-limit hold’em main event. His top prize of $2 million came at the prize of defeating pros like Annete Obrestad and Sorel Mizzi. Frederik Jensen was his heads up opponent and took $1,100,000 as his prize. Sorel Mizzi, the highest finishing poker pro, took third and $715,000 while Annette Obrestad was in 7th with $175,000.
