Ashton Griffin wins Poker Event

The Poker Stars Highroller event was won by 21 year old Ashton Griffin. The online player beat the crowd in the $25,000 buy-in Pokerstars North American Poker Tour Venetian High Roller Bounty Shootout. His victory brought him more than half a million dollars in cash. The online pro, who hails from Florida, won $560,000. The final table had a whos who of great players: Hoyt Corkins, Joe Cassidy, Scott Seiver, Faraz Jaka, Brett Richey and former World Series Of Poker champ Peter Eastgate. Many players may not have cashed but won money for knocking others out of the game.
