Ante up for Africa a Success

The latest Ante up for Africa charity poker event was a qualified success, raising €260,000 for the humanitarian efforts in Darfur, Africa. The first event, put on by Annie Duke and actor Don Cheadle, took place at an earlier World Series of Poker, but the franchise has branched out to include events in Europe, such as this last Ante up for Africa. The event drew plenty of big stars from the worlds of sports, acting and poker. The winner was PokerStars pro Isabelle Mercier.
