Poker pro Allen Kessler ends his year with a victory at the Bayou Poker Challenge. He played well and had the chip lead going into the final table. A few hours later he lost most of those chips, but managed to grind his way back to the top. In the end he faced 78-year old Ed Corrado in heads up action before finally winning and claming his $70,796 first-place prize. In addition to the cash pay day Kessler also won a seat in the 2010 WSOP main event valued at $10,000.
