Jerrod Ankenman is the latest winner at the World Series of Poker, and he and co-author Bill Chen are hoping this will mean a spike in the sale of the book, Mathematics of Poker. Many people consider poker a game of luck, but the pros can tell you it is more skill than luck, and that most of that skill comes from an understanding of the math behind the game. Ankenman has cashed twice before at the WSOP but this is his first victory. He took home the gold bracelet and a prize of nearly $250k.
