Poker pro Daniel Alaei joined an elite group of poker players who have won WPT titles. Alaei won the World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic recently. His victory brought with it a $1.4 million payday. He also won a $25,000 seat into the WPT championship in 2010. Alaei has been on fire this past year, winning over $2.1 million and making his career earnings close to $4 million. He beat top level pros such as Josh Arieh, Shawn Buchanan, Faraz Jaka, Scotty Nguyen and Steve O'Dwyer
