The 2009 Foxwoods Poker Classic has come and gone and left in its wake a new champion of poker, Vadim Trincher. He took down the field for a first place prize of $731,079 after hours of poker player. In the end he was face to face with Amnon Filippi, who lost his final hand when Trincher made a flush. Filippi took home over $400k for his second place finish. For his victory, in addition to the cash, Trincher gets a spot in the World Poker Tour Championship and a WPT bracelet
