2008 Yaoji Poker Game National Masters Done

The 2008 Yaoji Poker Game National Masters recently wrapped up their inaugural event at the Beijing Grand View Garden Hotel. This was a 10 month long poker series, a national competition that put up a total of 200,000 yuan ($29,300) in prize money. The local name of the game is Traktor, a version of poker that is different than that commonly played under the name. The event had the support of (and was co sponsored by) the Beijing Sports Press Association, making it an officially sanctioned Chinese sporting event.
