In Cadillac, Michigan, there won't be any running to collect poker cards at an upcoming charity event; nor will their be riding of motorcycles, driving of cars, piloting of boats or flying of planes. Those interested in participating in the event are going to have to walk. The Cadillac Community Health Coalition will be hosting a Poker Walk at First Night 8 at 7 PM. Poker runs are popular events, normally using motorcycles, where participants pay a fee to enter, drive their bikes along a predetermined route, and collect poker cards at certain stops along the way. The best hand at the end of the Run wins prizes.
This time participants will be walking laps in the Cadillac Junior and Senior High buildings, and each lap will earn them a card. Best poker hands win prizes.
