Empire Online Ltd. and Intercontinental Online Gaming Ltd. have recently given up control over gambling websites, with PartyGaming Plc the one to step in and take control. The companies selling, having lost money when they moved away from US facing markets, have sold off sites such as Noble Poker to PartyGaming, the world's biggest Internet poker company. PartyGaming will fund the purchase by issuing more shares of stock, gaining $72 million from the 115.2 million new shares. Shares of PartyGaming, which recently moved downward, are expected to rise after the news of the purchase reaches enough investors.
