A popular online Poker News magazine recently published an article stating poker was damaging to a player's health, and in the article a few interesting observations were made. The first observation talks about how clocks are not used in casinos in order to keep time-conscious poker players at the tables. The second one is about how lack of sleep results in a physical change in how the brain processes information, leaving the player more susceptible to risk. A good night's sleep before a planed day of poker playing is recommended to combat this situation.
