By launchpoker, Dec 30, 2005

It cost him a few thousand dollars in tuition, a lot of hard work, stress, long nights and worry; there were even times that 18 year old Jordan Berkowitz considered doing something drastic just to get him through. Though this situation might sound familiar to high school seniors getting ready for finals week, in reality it describes Jordan’s other education. He dropped out of high school and check in to poker school instead.

After a learning curve that had him wishing he were back in school at times, Jordan began to see success. Living at home in Philadelphia, the Marple Township teenager claims to have won a dozen tournaments for $50,000 or more. He certainly has the cars to prove it, including an $85,000 BMW.

After such a young start, Jordan is considering a vacation away from poker to consider his future. He mentioned getting involved in the stock market as his next possible adventure.
