The man they call the "greatest darts player of all time" says he can't play darts at this level forever, and so has his eye on becoming a poker champ. Phil Taylor, who is well known for his prowess at tossing darts, shocked the poker community by coming in second at the 888.com Pacific Poker Open a few years back, padding his bank account with £179,000. Now 47, Taylor has expressed interest in playing in the main event of the World Series of Poker, the $10k main event considered by many to be the true test of poker power.
