$7 Million Aussie Poker Scandal

By launchpoker, Dec 20, 2007

The Australian consultancy Gaming Associates has been retained in order to investigate an alleged $7 million scandal, and as a result even more questions about certain poker rooms have been raised. Gaming Associates was brought in during the month of November to investigate what was called a security breach that allowed a poker room employee to get an access to private information that led to his winning a major poker tournament. The issue that many are taking with the investigation is concerning the fact that the poker room itself is funding the investigation, and there are no third party eyes on the ground.
