Online poker room Party Poker recently moved the main weekly satellite for qualifying for the Party Poker Irish Poker Championship. In light of the upcoming Christmas Holiday, the main $240 weekly satellite was moved from Tuesday to Sunday. This means that the last chance to qualify for the event is going to be on December 23rd. For every 25 players in the event, the poker room will put up one tournament seat. The prize package, worth $5,000, is up for grabs for as little as a $3 investment. In addition to this there are live qualifiers in pubs in Ireland.
