A report featured in Scotland's Sunday Herald newspaper let it be known that online poker site Purple Lounge Poker is not for sale, despite recent rumors to the contrary. A recent offer to buy half of the outfit for a cool £15,000,000 has been turned down by the Lounge owners, including Chris Gorman, who is a Scottish-based serial high-tech entrepreneur, not to mention a 20% stake holder. Matt Larter, CEO and founder of Purple Lounge Poker, also was in on the turn down. The bid came on the heels of the upheaval of the poker industry in recent months, but Purple Lounge Poker seems to have dodged the worst of that fall out.
