Patrik Antonius Keeps WPT Chiplead

At one of the premier World Poker Tour events, the chiplead was maintained on day two by the previous day’s chipleader, Patrik Antonius. The other players at the Bellagio’s Five Diamond Classic main event are keeping an eye on this young gun, who in recent months has shown he knows his game. Antonius won the Scandinavian Poker Championships and took third at the European Poker Tour Barcelona Open; now his sights are set on taking down this WPT event.At the end of the night, Antonius was in the lead, followed by Darrell Dicken, Alan Goehring, Doyle Brunson, Phil “Unabomber” Laak, Barny Boatman, Ron Kirk, Jeff Littlefield, Don Zewin and Jeff Rine as the shortstack of the top ten.Still in the running are such well-known poker pros as Clonie Gowan, Dewey Tomko, Barry Greestein, and young John D’Agostino.
