Mac Outfit Provides Poker Guide

By launchpoker, Dec 14, 2005

Recently online poker rooms have recognized the need to cater to the Macintosh computer crowd. Long appreciated as loyal customers by Apple, Mac fans who also enjoy a game of poker were out of luck for a long while, as most poker rooms only offered Windows software. Mac users either had to sit out or use expensive emulation software, such as Virtual PC, to run the poker room programs. Now that many poker rooms are offering Mac compatible options, the questions have started to come from Mac users; how to know what to use?

The Mac Observer, an Internet news source for all things Macintosh, has published a Mac Online Poker Guide to help them out. Outlining those sites that offer Mac solutions, the guide explains the differences between play money and real money sites, download versus no-download options, and even offers a glossary of terms for those new to the game.

The guide can be found on the TMO site, here: http://www.macobserver.com/featurereview/2005/12/12.1.shtml
