Comedian Comes Out Against Poker Raids

Comedian Drew Carey is a poker player and recently he put up a show concerning a poker raid in Texas that he thought was a bit over the top. His online program, Reason TV, can be found on YouTube, and this particular episode has gotten a lot of play among poker players. Carey, who called poker "as American as apple pie", detailed the Dallas raid on a Veteran of Foreign Wars poker tournament, where the VFW was trying to raise money in support of a child who had died in connection with drugs. This raid is one of many examples of the pressure being applied to poker game play in the United States.
