2007 World Poker Congress

The 2007 World Poker Congress opened with Sue Schneider of Clarion Gaming pointing out that the big challenge in putting on poker conferences is finding a hospitable venue, and that Malta fits this need. Lucky for attendees, the event was being held in Malta, where big names from poker organizations from around the globe gathered to discuss the industry. The opening keynote address was delivered by two of the most high power people in the world of poker today, Steve Lipscomb of WPT Enterprises and Jeffrey Pollack of Harrah's Entertainment, the company that owns the World Series of Poker.
