Welsh Poker on the Rise

Poker remains a growth industry around the world, but the growth is going to be uneven depending on a lot of factors, including marketing, legal standing, and interest of the locals. In Wales, the industry was given green light - with a 31 percent ranking in recent survey that said the Welsh like to play poker. The 31 percent of adults in Wales surveyed who said they play poker is huge compared to the Scots rank of 27% and the English at 22%. In Wales, the draw appears to appeal evenly to players regardless of the venue, so Welsh poker players are playing online and in live events.
