In Orlando, Florida, players are testing their skills at poker every night of the week, playing for points and a shot at a seat in the World Series of Poker, and they never have to risk a dime. They are playing in an amateur poker league called Orlando Holdem, which arranges with the owners of various bars and restaurants to host a night of Texas Holdem tournament poker. The outfit provides the tables, chips, cards and dealers, and the organization. Regular players often follow the dealers and tables from venue to venue, attempting to rack up enough wins to play in the big event at the end of the year, with the winner of that getting a seat into the 2008 WSOP.
