Poker Cap Lifted in Michigan

When poker players play No Limit Texas Holdem, they like to play no limits. In Michigan, however, that had proved hard to do until recently. The Michigan Lottery's Charitable Gaming Division held a $500 cap on daily winnings for charitable gambling events, but that cap has now been lifted by the same group. This means that the No Limit Texas Holdem charity poker events held at Great Lakes Downs can now truly be no limit, with prizes far outstripping the $500. The Saturday after the cap was lifted saw the greatest turnout ever in the area.
