While one World Series of Poker champion wasn't able to come to the first ever live, legal poker tournament in China, another nearly won it. Jerry Yang, the current WSOP champ, was denied Visa access to China (thanks to his status as a political refuge) but Joe Hachem, the 2005 WSOP champ, had no similar problems. Joe finished in 8th place at the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour Macau. Dinh Le took first place and $222,640, followed by Ivan Tan ($129,536), Sangkyoun Kim ($72,864), Guillaume Patry ($56,672), Bertrand Grospellier ($48,576), William Tam ($40,480), Liz Lieu ($32,384), Joe Hachem ($24,288) and Simon Randall ($16,192).
