When a person sits down to play poker, they should understand that they are gambling. How much they are gambling, however, depends a lot on what kind of poker they are playing. Take ring, or cash, games and tournament games - in most tourney situations, a player buys in for a certain amount, and no matter how badly they play, they are only going to lose that certain amount - in a cash game, they could conceivably lose all their money if they keep putting it in. Now video poker, which typically follows the ring game format, has a way to keep the losses down. A new product offers something called "Guaranteed Play" that offers a set number of games for a certain dollar amount, putting the emphasis on fun by guaranteeing play for a certain length of time.
