With recent rumblings in the poker and gambling industry, it is good to see that one poker event will still be held. The Poker Industry Convention and Expo will be held December third and fourth in Costa Rica. Poker has become such a hot button topic that it is no surprise there are nearly as many stories about poker rooms being shut down by the law as there are of new rooms opening online. Recently a businessman in California had a poker and gambling expo shut down before it opened because he was displaying slot machines; machines that did not dispense cash, but rather coupons.
The Poker Industry Convention and Expo seems to be a go, as Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. released a second press release regarding the event just recently. Visit PokerIndustryExpo.com for more information.
