Little Rock Poker Troubles

The National Poker Challenge in Little Rock doesn't charge people to play poker. They do, however, charge them if they want the company to track their poker statistics, detailing how well they do over a season. For $100 a year, players get this information and play for cash prizes, and the police took issue. This past weekend the Ashley Square shopping center offices of the NPC were raised and five employees were arrested on gambling charges. Six poker tables, along with chips and cards and paperwork, were seized in the raid. The business was effectively shut down, and plans on taking legal action against the police, stating that the raid was harassment.
