Food Pantry Benefits From Poker Run

When some people hear "Poker Run" they may have images of fleet footed gamblers escaping a Bunco Squad bust, but these days a poker run refers to a journey to benefit a charity while having fun playing poker. The Lynnhaven Friends Golf Cart Poker Run was such an event, with golf carts substituting the more traditional motorcycles for the event. The Wildwood Food Pantry benefited from the event with a $475 check, and the participants in the run got to have fun racing on golf cards and picking up poker cards in hope of making the best hand and winning a prize.
