Poker Run Benefits Deputy’s Family

In Lake Wales, Florida, motorcycle enthusiasts, poker players and lawmen will all gather to raise money to support the family of a slain deputy via a poker run. The Matt and Diogi Memorial Poker Run will start at Chalet Suzanne in Lake Wales at 9:30am. Ending around 1pm at the USA International Speedway at 3401 Old Polk City Road, each rider pays $20, or $30 if they have a passenger. Three poker hands are included in the fee, and the best poker hands win prizes. Deputy Matt Williams and his K-9 Partner Diogi were both shot and died in September.
