When the inaugural Betfair Asian Poker Tour Main Event began, it was anyone's game. The Mandarin Ballroom was converted into a poker room for around 400 players in the luxurious Meritus Mandarin Hotel in Singapore. For three days the Main Event players battled it out until only Samuel Lehtonen, Tony G, Ang Pang Leng, Lee Nelson, Hans Vogl, Jeff Kimber, Brendan Walls, Mark Whent, Neil Yong and Henrik Dahlgaard remained to battle it out. In the end it was Australia-based professional poker player Tony G who took home the win.
