There is no legal sports book in Atlantic City, unlike Las Vegas, but that didn't stop a few enterprising people from trying to run one anyway. The end result is 23 arrests at a high stakes poker room in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Four of those arrested supposedly have ties to the mob, and the others include poker room supervisors, dealers, and even a bartender. The ring reportedly took in more than $20 million on bets based on football and basketball at the college and pro level, according to New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram.
