2007 World Poker Finals Over

The final table of the 2007 World Poker Finals is over, and Mike Vela came out on top as the victor. It wasn't an easy game, with the likes of Mark Weitzman, Nick "Takeover" Schulman, and Tom "Durr" Dwan at the table - two of whom had already won this event in years prior. But it was the senior vice president of an investment company who won this event, his first WPT game. Vela has played poker for four years and won his seat here via an eleven hundred dollar super satellite. Vela won $1.7 million dollars as the victor.
