The U.S. Department of Justice will be holding a hearing on November 14th to explore the topic of Internet gaming. The Poker Players Association is claiming credit for forcing this meeting, thanks to their previous "Washington Fly-In" efforts to get the lawmakers to take a second look at the situation of online poker in the United States. The PPA's Executive Director John Pappas expects to see an expert on World Trade Organization policy at the hearing, as well as representatives from the Department of the Treasury and congressmen both for and against. Annie Duke is expected to be on hand as well.
