In Kingsport, Tennessee, an 82 year old WSOP bracelet winner was arrested and charged with aggravated gambling promotion. Paul McKinney, who won the 2005 Seniors Event of the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas (and $202,725), was arrested along with 15 others as a result of a gambling raid. The police in Kingsport, acting on a tip, conducted the raid and charged all those arrested with gambling. McKinney was also charged with possession of Schedule III narcotics when police discovered pills in his pocket. McKinney set a record when he won his bracelet for being the oldest person to do so at the time.
