Players competed online to win spots in an online final, and the top ten players from the online final went to a live venue that was kept secret up to the last possible moment - a cruise ship plying the waters of the Mediterranean. Despite a rough start it was German player Frank Stumpf who was the eventual victor, beating fellow countryman Matthias Lotze in the heads up match for the victory and the $233,000 in prize money.
