Coming on the heels of the implementation of electronic Texas Holdem Tables in CA casinos, the Progressive Gaming International Corporation (PGIC) made the announcement that they will be taking the concept one step further - by taking it wireless and making it remote. The tables have no dealer but instead a number of flat panel touch screen monitors that record and display the action, while the PGIC concept completely removes the table, giving customers handheld devices that would allow them to roam the casino or even move to the pool or the restaurant and continue to play. PGIC devices would use the World Series of Poker "Peer to Peer" Texas Holdem game, and would be a perfect solution for casinos that don't have a poker room.
