Florida Poker Run for Special Needs Shelter

By launchpoker, Oct 30, 2006

Florida, like many states in the union, has a population of homeless and special needs citizens. Like many states, Florida also struggles from time to time to help those in need and protect those in that situation from exposure to drugs and crime, an unfortunate reality of a homeless population. One group has reached out with a solution for all ages, the Barney E. Veal Center for All Generations special-needs shelter in Osceola County. To help raise money for the shelter the Osceola County Council on Aging is sponsoring a motorbike poker run. November 5th is the date, and registration starts at 8am and the run at 10am.
