Online Poker Site Sees 70% Jump in Players

The home company of Party Poker has seen a big jump in players over the last year, with Party Gaming posting a 70% increase. Along with the increase in players the third quarter revenue numbers were an impressive $115 million. Along with posting big numbers Party Gaming is making big moves, such as purchasing Intercontinental Online Gaming and Empire Online for $66.6 million, a move which helped spike their overall numbers. Despite this new player sign up was down 14% from last year for the same quarter, thought to be linked to the UIGEA.
