Poker TV is not unique to America, but that might be where you would expect to see experimental poker shows that blend celebrity, humor and poker together in one package. The folks behind Australia's Channel Ten, however, have set out to broaden your perception with their new poker show, Joker Poker. Hosted by the number one player in Australia and New Zealand, Lee Nelson, as well as Big Brother and Meerkat Manor star Mike Goldman, Joker Poker brings together comedians to sit at the poker felt and to try to outwit and outplay each other. Nelson, who has the experience to back his opinion, says that some of the contestants would do just fine in real poker tournaments.
