High Heels Poker Tour a Success

Men may still make up the majority of poker players the world over, but that does not mean that women don't enjoy the game, especially when the cards are spread just for them. This was the case at the Isle Casino and Racing at Pompano Park, where the High Heels Poker Tour event was held on Saturday. The 103 women turn out was just as big as any open event held at the casino, and the women playing expressed happiness at being able to play with no men at the table. The major victory at the World Series of Poker Europe by Annette Obrestad must have inspired many women to play in this event.
