While the monster pots associated with the World Series of Poker, such as this year's Main Event where winner, Jamie Gold, took down $12 million, have created plenty of buzz for the 37-year-old institution, there are plenty of other live tournament events with big buy ins and big payouts, such as the Festa al Lago V's $10,000 Main Event. With 433 entries it was no WSOP Main Event, which drew over 8,700, but this event still had a seven figure prize pool. Joe Pelton will start the table as the chip leader, with nearly 3 million dollars worth of tourney chips. Can Kim Hua, Andreas Walnum, Steve Wong, Chris Loveland and David Baker will either sit at the final table. But Danny Smith busted out in 7th place and took home over $75,000.
