These days it is more common to see a court case being brought against a poker home game by the state than any other kind, but in Denver one poker playing host is bringing suit against a man for nearly thirty grand. The defendant is Sean S. Ahn, who joined nine other players at the home game of Francois Safieddine, where he allegedly bought into the game for an eventual tab of $29k in chips, which he lost to other players. When they attempted to cash in the chips Ahn couldn’t cover the tab, and now Safieddine is seeking legal help to obtain the money.
