World Poker Tour CFO Faces Tough Choices

Just in time to welcome him to his new job with the World Poker Tour, the new CFO, or Chief Financial Officer, has to face the possibility that his company will be removed from the listing on NASDAQ. Thomas Flahie faces this challenge thanks to the drop in shares below one dollar, the minimum for listing on NASDAQ. Flahie’s experience in previous roles as CFO for Intermix Media, which runs the website MySpace, should prove invaluable to his new role. Flahie’s approach at Intermix Media was to refocus the company on core businesses.
